Tsaina Lodge

Heavily used by recreationists year-round, Thompson Pass includes some of the world’s best heli-skiing. Corvus Design worked with the private lodge owners of Tsaina Lodge to develop a master plan for this lodge near the top of Thompson Pass. The site master plan focused on creating a world-class heli-ski resort during the winter season while accommodating summer backcountry tourism groups. Located in the Chugach Mountains just northeast of Valdez, the lodge is off-grid and receives extreme quantities of snow, making planning for outdoor activities and maintenance unique.
