UAA MAC Housing

The MAC Housing development at the University of Alaska Anchorage Campus provides many housing units to students. The buildings had reached the age where they required significant renovations to extend their lifespan. Corvus Design provided landscape design and site renovation services for this overhaul. Within a multi-phase project, we provided: site-level master plans for improvements that included bringing fire lanes up to code, providing a higher level of wayfinding through better pathways and marking of entrances and key nodes, developing a planting scheme that maximizes aesthetics while ensuring maintenance is reasonable, and creating outdoor amenity areas that better meet student and campus needs.
